Learning Proper Names

Lately Madison has been learning to say many things amongst these things we've been working on proper names for those close to us. My girls have many aunts so one day at lunch we were trying to say each of their names.

Aunt Krystal sounds like 'ent kooka'
Aunt Beth sounds like 'ent bet'
Aunt Julie sounds like 'ent juju'
and we got to Aunt Alisha and I said say Aunt Ali... she thought I said 'owie' and said "oh, booboo?" so Alisha said, well maybe since I have a hard name to say, I can be 'Aunt Boo" so now she says 'ent boo' or 'ent boop' ... however, Keith thinks she says 'eat poop'.

Check out the video and tell me what you think:

*Suprise* Keith's 27!

Getting together a suprise party was quite the event, but just trying to leave then get him home was the hardest part about the hole thing! The morning of the party Keith insisted that he wanted to work on the kitched cabinet crown molding, so up until 11:00am I let him; then I asked "how long are you going to take on this?" He asked what's it to me so I had to tell him I was going to suprise him by taking him to this sushi bar he's been wanting to go to & my sister was coming to babysit. So he cleaned his tools, I rushed to clean the house back up again, then we went out to dinner. Trying to get him back home, he told me we had to go grocery shopping! Not able to get out of this, we flew through the store & got the SLOWEST cashier EVER! Finally, we were on our way, 45 min late to his own party!
****Suprise!!!***

If you can't tell, he's looking at me like "What did you do!" haha
But, thankfully, he forgives & Loved the party!

What a turn out & it was basically family and just a couple friends!

Needless to say we finally were able to celebrate Keith's birthday properly after 6 years of being together; besides one year, we either are pregnant or just had a baby & all the attention has been off him - Not This Year! Love you Keith!
The following day, his actual birthday, Keith's mom came to babysit the girls and we had a wonderful date night out - we went to Carabba's (where we had our 1st date) and out to see the movie 'Avatar' - totally recommend this movie in 3D, it was awesome!

Here's to a New Year!

2009 is a year I am thankful for and will be much remembered. God graced us with another beautiful, healthy little girl; she has added much happieness, growth, and entertainment to our lives. We've seen Madison grow, learn, and mature over those twelve months; she too fills our hearts with joy, our minds with knowledge, and our faces with smiles.

Our home has not only grown in number, but in size too. The latest construction has allowed us to move and play more freely and less constricting; it has truely been a blessing.

In this past year our marriage has gained another year and more love for eachother making us a stronger couple. Our experiences with childrearing and learning more about each other has made it possible to tighten the threads of our bond; I love him more each day.

Although the last few days of 2009 was quite physically painful, the doctors were able to lessen the pain for the incoming 2010, which seems to me a very good way to start this New Year. I know there will be much more wonderful joys and experiences to come, regardless if it's tough or pleasant, I know the out come will be good for our lives. Welcome 2010!
